Northampton Compressor Station

LMC was selected to construct a Greenfield compressor Station in Northampton County North Carolina as part of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. The project included complete site development, followed by installing three turbine/compressor units; Solar Taurus 70 Turbine, Solar Centaur 50 Turbine and a Centaur 40CS. All units accompanied by unit air intake and exhaust, lube oil coolers, fuel gas systems, seal gas system, gas cooler systems, unit blowdowns, and ammonia system. In addition to installing the units, LMC was responsible for installing all main gas station piping, three horizontal suction helical coil separators, hydrocarbon storage tanks, fully furnished auxiliary building with backup generator, utility gas building, storage buildings, station office building, and electrical building.
