Salary Range: $25-$30 Per Hour

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Quality Technician to join our team and assist in maintaining and improving our quality control processes. This role will focus on working with AWS codes and standards, using a variety of inspection tools, and supporting non-destructive examination activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and tests to ensure product and weld quality, following AWS D1.1 and related codes.
• Assist in conducting NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) techniques, such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and penetrant testing. Level II MT, PT, UT preferred.
• Utilize measurement tools, such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers for dimensional verification.
• Assist in the calibration and maintenance of measurement and inspection tools.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to inspections, calibrations, and non-conformance reports.
• Work closely with production staff and engineers to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Utilize computers and software to document inspection findings and produce reports.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with AWS codes and standards.
• Experience with NDE techniques such as UT, MT, and PT.
• Proficiency with calibration systems and measuring tools (tape measures, micrometers, calipers, etc.).
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with software used for documentation and quality control.
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
